Make Lansing Listen is a project of Common Sense in Government. CSG is comprised of two distinct yet related organizations, the Common Sense in Government Foundation and Common Sense in Government. Each has a specific purpose and use, and while we have always been committed to stretching our dollars and finding ways to make big statements with small budgets, we still need the help of patriots to keep moving forward. Our goals are to inform, inspire and involve the patriots of Michigan who want to bring sanity and common sense back to our government.
Common Sense in Government Foundation
CSGF is a 501c3 non-profit entity. The good news is that this makes contributions to CSGF tax deductible. The bad news is that it limits the activities we can do. CSGF is dedicated to providing information to empower the citizens of Michigan to continue to fight for liberty and free market values. Common Sense in Government
CSG is a 501c4 non-profit entity. Unfortunately this means that donations are not tax deductible, however, it is this half of the combination that allows us to take action. CSG is the “involve” part of the goal. Contributions to CSG allow us to organize events and rallies, and to continue to be present as needed to make sure Lansing is listening.
